Physics® Standard Series Forceps operate like an elevator for atraumatic extraction, placing a constant and steady load on the tooth to break down periodontal ligaments.

  • Used on all teeth except third molars
  • One handle connects to a bumper to act as the fulcrum, while the other connects to a beak that is typically placed on the lingual or palatal root of the tooth into the gingival sulcus
  • Once properly placed, handles are easily rotated with minimal wrist movement and no squeezing
  • Effective in most cases of broken, fractured, decayed, fragile or endodontically treated teeth
  • Useful for curved or long-rooted molars and cuspids
  • Helps to preserve surrounding bone and tissue in preparation for implants
  • Does not grasp the crown
  • No advanced elevation needed
